While most of scientific events have been cancelled or postponed Environmental toxicology and chemistry society - SETAC Europe has held its 30th Annual Meeting although for the first time as a virtual event. Online presentations and poster sessions were held at 3-7 May 2020 and LIAE took the advantage to participate with two poster presentations. Part of results by Interreg BSR project CWPharma were summarized in a poster "Biotests evaluate contaminants reduction via advanced waste water treatment" (presented I.Putna-Nīmane). The second poster "Determination of acute and chronic ecotoxicological effects of leachates from geosynthetics in different stages of artificial hydraulic engineering application process" included outcomes of ERA-Net RUS Plus project EI-GEO and of postodoctoral grant No. 1.1.1.2/VIAA/3/19/465 (presented by E. Strode).
